Our Commitment

Precision Built. Professionally Supported.

Backed by Total Platform Assurance.

A Jacob Grey firearm is built as a complete performance platform — engineered with purpose, precision-machined, hand-fitted, assembled with care, meticulously inspected, and tested to deliver the reliability, accuracy, and control expected from a premium 2011-style firearm.

Our commitment does not end when the firearm leaves our facility. If your Jacob Grey firearm experiences a qualifying issue related to materials, workmanship, factory fitment, or mechanical function, our team will evaluate it and make it right.

Every warranty claim is reviewed by Jacob Grey. If the firearm is functioning within factory specifications, or if the issue is determined to be outside warranty coverage, the customer may be responsible for shipping, labor, parts, refinishing, testing, or related service costs.

Jacob Grey Warranty — What Is Not Covered Preview

Warranty Limitations

What Is Not Covered

Jacob Grey’s 12-Month Total Platform Assurance is designed to protect customers from qualifying factory-related issues in materials, workmanship, fitment, and function. It does not cover normal wear, ammunition-related damage, unauthorized modifications, improper maintenance, misuse, non-factory components, or service requests unrelated to a verified defect.

Coverage Boundaries

Not Every Issue Is a Warranty Issue

Jacob Grey stands behind the firearms we build. At the same time, warranty coverage is limited to qualifying factory-related issues. Conditions caused by use, maintenance, ammunition, modifications, accessories, or factors outside the original Jacob Grey factory configuration may be handled as non-warranty service.

Customer Approval No billable non-warranty work will be performed without customer approval.

Normal Wear & Cosmetic Condition

Normal wear from use, cosmetic finish wear, holster wear, handling marks, carbon buildup, spring wear, and routine maintenance items are not covered as warranty defects.

Ammunition-Related Damage

Damage caused by barrel obstruction, overpressure ammunition, remanufactured ammunition, reloaded ammunition, handloaded ammunition, or ammunition outside SAAMI, CIP, or NATO specifications is not covered.

Improper Maintenance, Misuse & Handling

Damage caused by improper cleaning, lubrication, storage, assembly, disassembly, neglect, misuse, abuse, impact, or improper handling is not covered.

Non-Factory Parts & Unauthorized Modifications

Issues caused by aftermarket parts, non-factory components, unauthorized gunsmithing, tuning, polishing, fitting, stippling, refinishing, coating, or modification are not covered when Jacob Grey determines those changes contributed to the issue.

Service Evaluation

No Fault Found Evaluations

Occasionally, a firearm returned for service is found to function properly within Jacob Grey factory specifications after inspection and testing.

If no defect or malfunction is verified, the service request may be treated as non-warranty. In these cases, Jacob Grey reserves the right to charge the customer for return shipping and any applicable evaluation, labor, testing, ammunition, or service-related costs.

This policy protects the integrity of the warranty process while ensuring every firearm receives a professional technical review by the Jacob Grey team.
